Fashion
Fashion is the character or the attitude of Acustronic's related bands/artists and concept synapses. In order to develop this, they began working with Paris-based fashion designer Oscar Carvallo (www.oscarcarvallo.com) who developed a prêt-e-porter line influenced by manga (Japanese comics). The first prototypes were worn by organicArma at their Louvre presentation during the band's Paris showcase while on their first tour in Fall 2007.
ABOUT FASHION DESIGNER OSCAR CARVALLO:
Oscar Carvallo was born in Caracas, and taught by Guy Meliet, a well established French couturier designer. Oscar Carvallo founded his own design studio and launched his prêt-à-porter line in 1997. At this time, Neiman Marcus and Saks 5th Avenue opened their doors to his collections. He then accepted a scholarship from the Domus Academy in Italy and received a Masters degree in Fashion Design while working in Milan for the Italian industry. In 2003, he chose to present his collections in France. In the Winter of 2005, he opened his first boutique in Paris. He worked inside the concept synapse and was able to develop a new line for organicArma called "Dual". The first prototypes were shown at the Louvre presentation of the band during it's Paris showcase during their first tour in Fall 2007. The fashion designs evoke heroism and futurism by utilizing sculpted shoulders and reinforced pants in metallic, black and modern fabrications. Future designs will include lyricism and reversible elements that will proudly present the duality concept of the band.
From design to manufacturing; from online stores to boutiques; from Miami to Paris -- Acustronic is involved in every aspect of the fashion collections.
